Most of the painting is finished. The dark blue accent wall (behind me as I took this picture) still needs to be painted, but that's about it. We haven't decided whether to repaint the doors. Eleven years ago, that door was the same color as the trim around it, but it has yellowed over the years. I'm really happy with how the railing has come together now that the metal and wood are all the same color.
The boys decided to keep the dark blue accent wall, but cover over the light blue with the same neutral color we used in much of the rest of the house. Benjamin Moore calls it Edgecomb Grey, "A go-to gray that's timeless with a modern edge, this earthy, organic neutral is soft and stylish, creating a setting that feels distinctly personal."
