Angel glacier begins in a cirque on the shoulder of Mt. Edith Cavell and spills out into the valley below.

While we were on the hike, we regularly heard small avalanches and rockfalls. In this picture, a small avalance is falling on the left edge of Angel Glacier (near the middle of the picture).
