Mount Robson
Our first day of driving took us to Kamloops, BC. Our second took us to Jasper National Park, by way of Mount Robson Provincial Park.
Mount Robson Sign
Mount Robson is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. We were all anxious to get to our cabin in Jasper, so we didn't stop this at Mount Robson this time.
Backup in Jasper
Just after passing into Jasper National Park, we had an unexpected stop. A crew was clearing rockslide debris off the road, so we sat and waited...
Alpine Village Sign
We stayed at the Alpine Village Cabins just outside the Jasper townsite.

Canookee
The cabin key was on a canoe-shaped fob. We took to calling it the "canookee," much to the amusement of the boys.

Mount Edith Cavell
Creatures of habit? Our first hike of the trip was the Path of the Glacier trail at Mount Edith Cavell (same as last time).
