Another great Lufthansa flight. This plane had their new upgraded seatback entertainment system with a much better screen and a huge selection of movies & shows to watch. We flew back a different way than we came: Munich to Toronto, then Toronto to Vancouver, British Columbia. We spent the night in Vancouver before taking the Bolt Bus home to Seattle. The dollar savings was tough to pass up (even after taking into account the hotel room in Vancouver), but I don't think I'd do it again. And I certainly wouldn't transit through Toronto.
The sole redeeming feature of the Toronto Airport was a great little exhibit on comic art which included this mural by Chris Ware.
We arrived in Vancouver a little after 8pm, about 20 hours after we checked out of the hotel in Munich. Fortunately, we were staying at the Fairmont Hotel that's connected to the terminal. We woke the next morning to a wonderful view.
