We stayed at the Hotel Alpen Residence.

Next stop: Bolzano (aka Bozen). We stayed at the Stadt Hotel Città right on the main square.

Bolzano's main square. We really fell in love with Bolzano. Like all of South Tyrol, it's a wonderful mix of German and Italian influences. The name of our hotel is a perfect example. It's basically "City Hotel." In German, that would be "Stadt Hotel;" in Italian, "Hotel Città." So it's fittingly South Tyrolean for it's full name to be Stadt Hotel Città.
