Nationalparkplatz at Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe. The mountain on the left is Grossglockner. In the valley is Pasterze Glacier.
This orange box is a temporary art installation titled "Alpine Symphony: Alps Love." Inside, you use big blocks to stand up through holes in a low ceiling; you are then surrounded by a model of the mountains, with Strauss's Alpine Symphony playing and simulated lightning flashing... Sounds odd but was actually pretty cool, though somewhat overwhelming to the senses. There's a video about it on YouTube.
The Grossglockner is in Hohe Tauern National Park, the largest nature reserve in the Alps.
