We arrived in Vancouver a little after 8pm, about 20 hours after we checked out of the hotel in Munich. Fortunately, we were staying at the Fairmont Hotel that's connected to the terminal. We woke the next morning to a wonderful view.
The Bolt Bus to Seattle leaves from the Pacific Central Train Station. We had planned to take the TransLink train from the airport to the station, but the previous day, the entire system had been completely shut down for 5 hours, stranding passengers on trains. At the time, the cause was still a mystery (it was human error), so we opted for a cab instead. As it turns out, the cab was faster and cheaper than the train would have been anyway. We're not in Europe anymore. As for the Bolt Bus, it was fine, but no better than any other bus. I guess the days of Bolt Bus having nice new comfy busses is over.
